Settings

Configure your company profile, email settings, notification preferences, integrations, data privacy options, and billing from the Settings page.

Company Settings

Update your company information from Settings > Company. These details are visible to candidates in interview invitations, email outreach, and public-facing pages:

  • Company name — Your organization's official name. This appears on all candidate-facing communications.
  • Company logo — Upload a high-quality logo. It appears in interview invitations, email outreach headers, and your company's presence on Stori. Use a square image (at least 200x200 pixels) for best results.
  • Website — Your company's website URL. Candidates can click through to learn more about your organization.
  • Industry — Select your primary industry. This helps with benchmarking comparisons and platform analytics.
  • Company size — Select your employee count range. Used for benchmarking context and analytics.

Keep your company profile up to date. Candidates often check your company info before responding to outreach — a missing logo or outdated information can reduce response rates.

Email Configuration

Configure how outreach emails are sent from Settings > Email. These settings apply to all email outreach sent through Stori:

  • Connected email account — Connect your Gmail or Outlook account via OAuth. This is required for sending outreach. Each team member connects their own email account so outreach comes from their personal address.
  • Sender name — The display name that appears in the "From" field of your emails (e.g., "Sarah from Acme Corp").
  • Reply-to address — Where candidate replies are directed. Typically your connected email address, but you can set a different reply-to if needed.
  • Email signature — Your default email signature appended to all outreach emails. Include your name, title, company, and contact information.
  • Tracking settings — Enable or disable open tracking and click tracking. Tracking helps you measure outreach performance but some companies prefer to disable it for privacy.

If you disconnect your email account, any active email sequences will be paused. You will need to reconnect and manually resume sequences.

Notification Preferences

Control which notifications you receive from Settings > Notifications. Each team member manages their own notification preferences:

  • New applications — Get notified when candidates apply to your jobs or complete an AI interview.
  • Email replies — Get notified when a candidate responds to your outreach email. This is critical — you do not want to miss a response from a passive candidate.
  • Team activity — Get notified when team members take actions like moving candidates between pipeline stages or leaving notes.
  • Candidate updates — Get notified when shortlisted candidates update their profiles.

At minimum, keep "Email replies" notifications enabled. When a passive candidate responds to your outreach, responding quickly (within 24 hours) dramatically increases your chances of scheduling a conversation.

Integrations

Stori integrates with your existing tools. Manage integrations from Settings > Integrations:

  • Gmail — Connect your Gmail account to send outreach emails from your own address. Uses OAuth for secure authentication.
  • Outlook — Connect your Microsoft Outlook account for the same email outreach capabilities.

Email integration is the primary integration point. Your connected email account enables all outreach features including single emails, bulk emails, and email sequences.

Data and Privacy

Manage your company's data and privacy settings:

  • Data export — Download all your company's data including jobs, candidates, notes, and email history.
  • Candidate data retention — Configure how long candidate data is stored in your account.
  • GDPR compliance — Handle data subject access requests and deletion requests as required by privacy regulations.

Deleting your company account permanently removes all data including jobs, candidates, team members, notes, email history, and benchmarks. This action cannot be undone. Export your data first if you need to retain it.

Billing Management (Admins Only)

Only Admins can access the Billing page. From Settings > Billing, you can:

  • Choose your platform band — The Platform card shows your company size band and, on the free band, how many of your 5 open roles are in use. Pick a paid band to subscribe through Stripe Checkout.
  • View credit balances — See your remaining interview credits.
  • Buy interview credits — Use Add Credits to buy a pack of 10, 100, 500, or 1,000 interview credits.
  • Update payment method — Change your credit card or payment information. Stori uses Stripe for secure payment processing.
  • View invoices — Download past invoices for expense reporting or accounting.
  • Manage or cancel your subscription — Use Manage subscription to open the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation keeps access until the end of your current billing period.

The Billing page has three cards: Platform (your company-size band), Sourcing (your monthly contact allowance, if you have one) and Interviews (how many candidates you have been charged for this month, what they came to, and which rung of the volume ladder you are on). Each card has its own Manage subscription button into the Stripe billing portal.

Review your billing page monthly to check credit usage and plan ahead. If your team is regularly running low on interview credits, a larger pack lowers the price per interview.
