Reports & Funnel
The Reports page is a focused view on one question: where in your hiring process do candidates drop out, and how does that change job by job? It complements the Analytics Dashboard — Analytics is broad and exploratory, Reports is tactical and funnel-shaped.
Reports vs. the Analytics Dashboard
Stori has two analytics surfaces because they answer different questions:
- Analytics Dashboard covers the whole hiring picture — sources, time-to-hire trends, outreach performance, trait patterns. Use it for strategic review.
- Reports is laser-focused on funnel conversion across the three pipeline stages, with a per-job breakdown table. Use it when you need to know exactly where a specific job is bleeding candidates.
If you only have time to look at one a week, look at Analytics. If you're trying to fix a single job that's stuck, open Reports.
Top-Line KPIs
Four summary cards sit at the top of the page:
- Total Candidates — everyone sourced into the selected job (or all jobs).
- In Final Stage — candidates currently sitting at Final.
- Overall Conversion — percentage of total candidates who reached Final.
- Have Interviewed — percentage of candidates with a completed Stori interview.
The Conversion Funnel
The main visualization is a horizontal bar funnel showing the three pipeline stages — Qualified, Progressed, Final — with bars proportional to candidate count. Between each stage, a percentage tells you the stage-to-stage conversion rate.
For example: 200 → 60 → 15 reads as 30% Qualified-to-Progressed and 25% Progressed-to-Final.
A healthy hiring funnel typically converts 25-40% Qualified-to-Progressed and 30-50% Progressed-to-Final. Numbers below those bands mean either your screening criteria are wrong (too lenient at Qualified, so good candidates aren't differentiated) or your interview process is over-rejecting at later stages.
Key Insights Panel
Below the funnel, the Key Insights panel surfaces two progress bars:
- Source-to-Final — overall conversion from initial application to Final stage.
- Interview Rate — percentage of sourced candidates who completed a Stori interview. Low numbers here usually mean invitation drop-off; high numbers mean your invite messaging is working.
A small Stage Distribution legend shows you what color maps to what stage.
Per-Job Breakdown
The table at the bottom of the page lists every job with its own funnel metrics — total candidates, count at each stage, conversion percentages, average interview score. This is where you compare jobs side by side and spot outliers.
Look for jobs with a high source count but a low interview rate — that's usually a sign that the job description and the interview invitation aren't aligned, so candidates apply but don't take the interview seriously.
On mobile, the table renders as cards.
Filtering Reports
The Reports page has a single dropdown — All Jobs or one specific job. Date range filtering is not currently exposed on Reports; for time-bounded analysis, use the Analytics Dashboard's Pipeline tab.
