Affiliate Program

Every Stori user has access to the affiliate program. Sign up, get a unique referral link, share it, and earn commission on the subscriptions of anyone who signs up through it.

Two tracks:

• Stori user — you're a candidate using Stori. Instant approval, instant link. Designed for casual sharing — DM a friend, post in a group chat, mention it in your network.
• Professional affiliate — recruiters, agencies, content creators with a real audience. Application required (~24 hours). Higher visibility on the dashboard, access to marketing assets.

Both tracks pay the same commission rate.

30% recurring commission for up to 12 months on the subscription revenue of anyone who signs up through your link and converts to a paid plan. So if your referral subscribes to Outreach at $34/mo, you earn $10.20/mo for up to a year.

A few details:

• Commissions are calculated monthly based on actual subscription payments.
• Refunds and chargebacks reverse the corresponding commission.
• Minimum payout threshold is $50. Once your pending balance crosses that, payouts process automatically.
• Payouts go to your connected bank account via Stripe Connect.

Open the Affiliates page from the candidate nav. Two-step registration:

1. Pick your account type — Stori user or Professional.
2. Fill in basic info. Stori users get their referral link immediately. Professional affiliates provide company name, website, and how they plan to promote — Stori reviews and approves within ~24 hours.

Your referral link is in the format: https://stori.com/?ref=[your-code]. It works for both candidate-side signups and company-side signups.

The affiliate dashboard has five tabs:

• Overview — total clicks, signups, conversions, earnings. 30-day breakdowns and your shareable link.
• Referrals — every signup with their status (signed up, converted, churned, refunded) and which plan they're on.
• Commissions — monthly statements showing gross revenue, commission rate, and your share.
• Assets — marketing materials (videos, banners, images) you can use in your promotion. Available to professional affiliates.
• Payouts — payout history and Stripe Connect bank account configuration.

A few patterns where the program pays off:

• You run a recruiting agency. Refer clients to Stori and earn on their subscriptions (30% × 12 months adds up fast).
• You write or post about job hunting. Add your link to your bio or content. The Outreach plan converts well for active job seekers.
• You're in a slack/discord for job seekers. Drop the link when relevant. Stori is free for candidates, from the interview to the report, so the value is genuine.
