Welcome to Stori. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Stori website (onestori.com) and services (collectively, the “Services”). Please read them carefully. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use Stori.

Who We Are

Stori (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides an online platform that enables candidates to create digital resumes that include video interviews, psychometric assessments, and related content, and allows recruiters/employers to access and evaluate candidate information.

Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Stori.
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

Accounts

To use Stori, you must create an account with accurate information.
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access or use of your account.

Candidate Content

Candidates retain ownership of all resumes, interviews, assessments, and materials they upload or create using Stori (“Candidate Content”).
By using Stori, candidates grant us a limited license to host, process, and display their Candidate Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Services.
Candidates control who can view their Candidate Content. Recruiters and employers only have access when granted by the candidate.

Recruiter/Employer Use

Recruiters and employers may use the Services only to evaluate candidates for legitimate hiring purposes.
You may not misuse candidate information, resell data, or use the Services for unlawful purposes.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:
Violate any laws or regulations.
Upload false, misleading, or infringing content.
Use Stori to spam, harass, or harm others.
Attempt to disrupt or compromise the security of the Services.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Payments and Subscriptions

Some features of Stori require payment (such as subscriptions or outreach credits).
Payments are processed securely through third-party providers (e.g., Stripe).
All fees are non-refundable unless required by law.
We may change pricing or features with notice.

Intelectual Property

The Stori platform, design, trademarks, and content (excluding Candidate Content) are owned by Stori or its licensors.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the Services without our written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liabilities

To the fullest extent permitted by law:
Stori shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us (if any) in the 12 months prior to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stori, its affiliates, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, your Candidate Content, or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

You may stop using Stori at any time by deleting your account.
We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Services.
Certain provisions (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) survive termination.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be effective when posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
