Meet your agent, Teller

One agent for both sides of a hire. Teller does the work in between, and you decide what it may do without asking.

For companies

Teller runs the hire. You decide.

  1. Tell Teller about the role, typed or out loud. It writes the internal spec and the public ad.

  2. Teller proposes who should be considered: people who have already recorded a Stori, with their own words as the evidence, and people from the wider market.

  3. It emails them from your own Gmail, answers their replies, and triages inbound applicants against your brief for you to review.

  4. It invites people to a Stori interview and books each round against your panel's real calendars.

  5. After the last round it drafts the offer, and sends it once you approve.

Six switches decide what Teller may do without asking. A person always answers when a candidate asks whether they are talking to a person, pushes on pay, or sounds unhappy.

For candidates

Teller applies for you, in your words.

  1. Record your Stori interview once. Everything Teller sends is built on it.

  2. Tell Teller what you want in a short conversation, typed or out loud.

  3. Teller finds the people who hire for the work you want.

  4. It writes to them in your words, quoting your interview.

  5. It applies to matched roles for you, on Stori and on Greenhouse, Lever and Ashby job boards. When a form needs you, it hands it back.

Teller can send without asking, within a daily cap. You record the interview once, and it is reused for every role.

What Teller never does

  • Teller never pretends to be a person.

Ask whether you are talking to a person, and a person answers.

  • Teller never rejects anyone on a protected ground.

It gathers and organizes the evidence. A person makes the hiring decision.

  • Teller never sends what you told it not to.

Your switches and your daily cap decide what it may do without asking.

Why an agent, and why ours

AI made every CV and every application look the same, so an agent that sends more of them only adds to the noise. Teller works from a Stori interview, what a person actually said about their own career, so every message and every proposal rests on something you can check.

Other agents replace the recruiter. Stori replaces the CV.

Put Teller to work

Companies start with the brief. Candidates start with the interview.
